General Summary: A Forklift Operator II is fully versatile in performing all warehouse distribution activities within our parts and units departments. The primary component of our warehouse distribution team is order fulfillment, including order fulfillment, including receipt of products into our distribution facility, storage of product, receiving orders, picking and packing orders, shipping orders, and provide customer service support internally & externally. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs all warehouse activities such as picking, packing, shipping, receiving, put-away, cycle counts,
  • inventory audit, etc.
  • Utilizes RF scanners to electronically perform warehouse activities
  • Operates forklift and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently for the purpose of accurate
  • shipping, processing and receiving, which includes but is not limited to unloading, scanning, moving, staging,
  • loading, locating, relocating and stacking product
  • Performs loading & unloading duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards
  • Ensures inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. All variances and damages must
  • be documented and reported to Supervisor
  • Efficiently moves product from picking bin locations to staging and/or loading areas
  • Responsible for packing and crating of products and materials to customers
  • Properly labels and handles shipments, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped
  • according to the paperwork
  • Performs labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and repacking as needed; repairs pallets when necessary
  • Adheres to all safety policies
  • Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work environment
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • At least 2 years of related warehouse experience
  • Ability to operate forklift and other material handling equipment
  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems; SAP experience is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail is a must; Performs all tasks using a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as orders, operating and maintenance instructions, and safety rules
  • Basic Math Skills- Needs to be able to count and calculate figures by adding, subtracting, multiplication and
  • division
  • Able to work overtime including Saturdays
  • Positive work attitude
Physical Requirements: The following physical requirements are essential for successfully performing the duties of a forklift operator in a warehouse environment:
  • Visual acuity: Clear vision is necessary for safe navigation, load handling, and maintaining situational awareness.
  • Hearing ability: Must be able to hear warning signals, alarms, and verbal instructions in a noisy work
  • environment.
  • Manual dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills are required to operate forklift controls
  • precisely.
  • Physical endurance: Ability to sit for extended periods while maintaining focus and control of the vehicle.
  • Strength and mobility: Must be capable of occasional climbing or balancing and able to lift and move loads of up
  • to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally with assistance.
  • Spatial awareness: Understanding of the forklift's dimensions and the ability to maneuver safely in confined
  • spaces.
  • Warehouse conditions: Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment for up to 8-
  • 10 hours per day, with exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and other environmental factors.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
  • Pay wage: $20.00-$21.00/hour DOE
  • Competitive compensation, including Annual Bonuses & Merit Increases
