Ecolab is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team in Greensboro, NC. As a Logistics Associate/Forklift Operator, you'll help deliver the products that support clean water, safe food, and healthy environments around the world. You'll play a key role in supporting shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations. You'll ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. This is a hands-on opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Pick customer orders using a scanner or tablet and stack them onto pallets.
  • Stage and label completed orders accurately for shipment.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as manual and electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, and propane lifts.
  • Verify product quantities, labeling, and packaging quality against packing lists and SAP records.
  • Inspect packaging and contents for damage or quality issues.
  • Coordinate with customer service, production, and packaging teams to ensure order accuracy and timely fulfillment.
  • Assemble shipping boxes, prepare labels, and manage packaging induction.
  • Load trailers with packed boxes and pallets for outbound shipments.
  • Identify and report quantity discrepancies to the Supervisor or Lead.
  • Maintain a clean and organized picking area using 5S principles.
  • Support inventory control by updating databases and participating in cycle counts.
  • Ensure the freight sorting area is organized and follows established stocking guidelines.
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support logistics and warehouse operations.

Position Details:

  • Plant Location: Greensboro, NC
  • Work Week & Shift: 1st (6a-2p) / 2nd (2-10p) / 3rd (10p-6a)
  • Compensation package offered: $20/hr + Shift Differential ($1.00-$1.50)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous plant or warehouse experience
  • Previous forklift operating experience
  • No immigration sponsorship offered for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous plant or warehouse experience
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Experience working independently and as part of a team

Physical Demands:

  • Position requires lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs
  • Position requires passing a drug screen
