Forklift Operator - Edsal Manufacturing : Job Details

We continue operating sites throughout the United States in Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and California. ForkLift Driver Summary Day shift Monday-Thursday 5:30 am-4:00 pm

• Using a motorized vehicle, responsible for moving materials and equipment.
• Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Move product from one staging area to another staging area
• Locating and moving product to pallets for production, storage or distribution
• Maintain pallet stacking in accordance with OSHA standards Load and unload product from trailers and or containers
• Load and unload product from production lines Shrink wrap products or otherwise secures for transport

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience High School diploma or equivalent (GED) or combination of education and experience

• 2 years' experience driving a forklift - stand up or sit down vehicles
• Valid driver's license
• Skills/Abilities
• Knowledge of safe lifting techniques
• Ability to work independently and part of a team
• Hand-eye coordination

Language Skills Ability to communicate and understand written and verbal instruction
