Our client, a leader in the logistics and manufacturing industry, is seeking a Forklift Operator / Material Handler to join their team. As a Forklift Operator / Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Forklift Operator / Material Handler
Location: Portland Metropolitan Area
Pay Range: $21.00 - $21.50/hour
Shift: Multiple shifts available, including day, night, and rotating schedules
What's the Job?
Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials
Prepare, verify, and process incoming and outgoing shipments
Use systems such as UPS/FedEx and SAP for shipping, receiving, and inventory tracking
Perform inventory tasks including cycle counts and stock movements
Support raw material processing and removal of production scrap
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
