Job Type Full-time Description Job Summary The Forklift Driver plays a critical role in supporting daily warehouse and production operations by safely operating forklifts and assisting with the movement of raw materials, fabricated components, and finished goods throughout the facility. This is a hands-on, full-time role within a fast-paced, industrial environment. Education and Experience

  • Valid driver's license required
  • Forklift certification and minimum 1 year of recent forklift driving experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of forklift operation and warehouse safety procedures
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions, including work orders and safety documents
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills
Primary Job Duties
  • Operate forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, etc.) to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility
  • Support material handling for machine operators, welders, and fabricators
  • Assist in shipping and receiving, including organizing pallets, staging orders, and verifying inventory
  • Maintain accurate records of materials handled and report discrepancies
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to minimize damage or loss
  • Follow all safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Perform daily pre-operational checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues
  • Assist with general labor tasks as needed, including packing, sorting, and basic warehouse duties
Physical Requirements:
  • Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks, such as climbing, stooping and bending often.
  • Physical strength to lift heavy tools and components. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent color-vision and hand dexterity for hand-eye coordination, with the ability to manipulate and assemble large and small components.
  • Use of personal protective equipment such as steel toes shoes, safety glass/goggles as required.
  • Machine/Fabrication shop environment; dust, grease and metal shavings are common.
