CRST is seeking full-time Class 8 Foreman to join our team in Hutchins, TX.

Job Title: Foreman

Location: Onsite in Hutchins, TX (1096 S Interstate 45 Service Rd, Hutchins, TX 75141)

Job Schedule: Fri to Mon (9 PM to 7:30 AM) ** will receive $2400/yr shift differential)

Job Summary: Whether it's preventative maintenance, repairs, or warranty work, CRST mechanics play a critical role in supporting our drivers and ensuring safety is at the core of all we do. We've had the lowest work comp percentages in the last 7 years. With more than 16,000 pieces of equipment, no two days are ever the same! Mechanics at CRST maintain a variety of Cascadia Freightliners, Detroit engines, dry vans, flat beds, and refrigerated trailers.

Day in the Job Preview: As a Foreman, you will have the overall responsibility for daily maintenance activities during a work shift. The Foreman ensures mechanics possess the necessary technical skills, adhere to the established shop procedures, and provide direction and feedback.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily maintenance activities of the work shift, including reviewing all repair orders as the mechanic completes a section.

• Ensure mechanics have the right technical skills for the job assigned.

• Enforce set shop procedures and guidelines.

• Provide direction, feedback, work assignments, and technical support to mechanics.

• Provide support for customers, ensuring a great experience.

• Communicate status and needs with Operations.

• Participate in mechanic performance feedback and pay reviews.

• Ensure the quality of work and that all maintenance procedures are being followed.

Job Requirements:

• Successful completion of a CRST background check and drug screen is required.

• Physically capable of lifting and maneuvering up to 50 lbs. frequently is required.

• 3-5+ years of experience as a Class 8 truck and trailer mechanic is required.
