Foreman - Ground Up - Abbott Construction : Job Details

The Foreman supervises and coordinates construction activities, aligning with Abbott's core values of exceptional customer service and safety. They are prepared to assume supervisory responsibilities when the Superintendent is unavailable.

• Coordinate daily construction site activities
• Serve as on-site safety officer, train and delegate tasks as needed
• Ensure subcontractors follow safety policies and procedures
• Develop and lead field teams throughout the construction process
• Identify and prepare Job Hazard Analyses for project hazards

• Must pass a drug test
• Civil Construction experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Proficient with builder's level and theodolite
• Experience in quality control, inspections, and reporting
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools
• Ability to motivate, develop, and direct personnel effectively

• Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Frequently lift/move up to 75 pounds; occasionally up to 25 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required
• Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, mechanical parts, vibration, and extreme conditions
• Work may be indoors or outdoors based on project needs

The hourly rate is $48.00 to $56.00, with eligibility for a target bonus.
