- Expert Diagnostics & Repairs: Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on Ford Power Stroke diesel engines and related systems, including fuel, emissions, drivetrain, and electrical components.
- Technical Leadership: Act as a mentor and technical resource for other technicians; assist with complex troubleshooting and repair strategies.
- OEM Standards: Ensure all work meets Ford factory specifications; maintain current certifications through Ford STARS and OEM training programs.
- Customer-Focused Communication: Clearly explain repair needs and processes to service advisors and, when needed, directly to customers.
- Accurate Documentation: Record all services performed, parts used, and time spent with precision and clarity.
- Tool Mastery: Utilize and maintain advanced diagnostic tools and equipment provided by the dealership.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Ford diesel vehicles; Senior Master Technician status strongly preferred.
- Certifications: Current Ford Senior Master Technician certification and/or Ford diesel certification required (Power Stroke expertise essential).
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of diesel fuel systems, turbocharging, DEF/DPF systems, and Ford diagnostic platforms.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; formal automotive training or OEM certification preferred.
- Problem Solving: Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient with OEM diagnostic software and digital service documentation tools.
- Licensing: Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record.
