Foodservice Worker Cafeteria, University, 16 Hours, Mixed Shift - UMass Memorial Health Care : Job Details

1. Prepares area for food serving. Sets up steam tables and service areas with hot food items, salads, desserts, fruits, breakfast foods, etc. Prepares and portions salads and desserts. Slices meats and prepares deli items i.e. sandwiches, mixed salads, cheese, etc. Replenishes food items as necessary. Makes coffee. Participates in cafeteria special events .. Serves food in prescribed quantities according to food service standards .. Takes temperatures before and during meal service. 4. Informs production if a menu item is running low .. Stocks cold supply before, during and after each meal service. II. Position Qualifications:License/ Certification/ Education:Required:1. Equivalent to completion of two years high school.
