The Food Services Director Chef plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operations of food services to ensure daily provision of quality nutritional services in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements Graduate of an approved American Culinary Federation (ACF) culinary program or another recognized culinary institution Completed a State approved course in food services One (1) year experience in hospital or post acute care food service Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience Specific Job Requirements Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facility Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department Perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient r...Food Service, Director, Chef, Food, Restaurant, Patient
