POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Food Service Worker is responsible for serving meals (Breakfast, Lunch, and Snacks) daily using pre-established standards and schedules. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure meals are ready on time by conducting advance food preparation;
- Ensure that children with special diets receive appropriate meals;
- Review and confirm invoices against delivered items. Take corrective actions when necessary;
- Post menus and maintain document accessibility;
- Verify current licensing and inspection reports are posted;
- Participate in designated trainings when required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MUST hold a NJ Food Handlers License;
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
- One (1) year of food service experience prefered.
