Food Service - Part Time - Fergus Falls Public Schools : Job Details

Position Type: Support Staff/Food Service Date Posted: 6/23/2025 Location: Fergus Falls Public Schools The Fergus Falls School District is seeking to fill a part-time food service assistant server position (4.5 hrs/day) at McKinley School for the 2025-26 school year. This position is scheduled 171 days and the wage range is $19.40 - $20.85/hour. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. Ability to lift 50 pounds 3. Ability to communicate pleasantly with staff, students and public 4. Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed 5. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Set up and restock items needed for the next breakfast and/or lunch being served.

Serve breakfast and/or lunch.

Daily clean up of the kitchen and service area (including removing food items, etc.). Empty garbage and mop floors in cafeteria area daily.

Run dishwasher/wash dishes by hand/put dishes away as needed.

Help with unloading of trucks as needed. (Secondary school only)

Put food and clean dishes away as needed.

Wash and fold laundry as needed. (Secondary school only)

Assisting and subbing for other staff as needed.

Participate in in-service training programs as required.

Comply with state safety practices, including sanitary requirements, etc.
