Job Description :

The Irving Food Lead will monitor the preparation of food and beverages and conduct quality inspections to ensure safety, sanitary food-handling practices, product quality, and adherence to standards. This role will also supervise employees engaged in serving and maintaining cleanliness of food service areas and equipment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the brand and The Irving customer experience standards
  • Greet customers, including answering phones, and provide the highest level of customer service with courtesy and professionalism
  • Prepare a variety of foods according to customer orders or supervisor instructions, following approved procedures
  • Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages; package take-outs if needed
  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain food preparation and serving areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and work surfaces to ensure safety and sanitation
  • Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperatures by regulating ovens, refrigeration, and other kitchen equipment
  • Check food and ingredient quality, monitor stock rotation, and ensure freshness
  • Handle, store, and rotate all food products and supplies according to Irving policies and procedures
  • Wash, cut, peel, and prepare foods for cooking or serving

Your Skills:

  • Basic math skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Customer service skills
  • Good communication skills

Your Experience:

  • At least 2 years in a customer service role
  • G.E.D or equivalent
