Job Description :
JOB GOAL: To assist in the preparation and serving of food, and in the cleaning of kitchen equipment. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepares and serves food;
  • Washes and sanitizes food service utensils and equipment;
  • Wash and dries dishes, pots and pans;
  • Operates the cash register;
  • Cleans up the kitchen, serving areas and mops floors;
  • Assists with other food service activities required for the operation of the School Lunch Program;
  • From time to time, performs special duties assigned by the cook;
  • Some days, performs the job of someone who is absent;
  • Works cooperatively with the cook and others on any job assigned following directions from the cook;
  • Is friendly and cordial to students, teachers and staff at all times;
  • Does related work as needed.
