Food Service-Float - Fort Madison Community School District : Job Details

Hours: 5.5 hours day (7:00 am-12:30 pm) Pay: $12.00 per hour Qualifications: The qualified applicant must have a minimum of a high school diploma or grade level equivalent diploma (GED), be able to pass a background check and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently. Roles and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Maintain cheery disposition with all children, staff and co-workers
• Float between buildings where needed
• Follow recipes and use kitchen scales and measuring utensils to prepare meals
• Maintain inventory
• Clean and store utensils, trays, pans and kitchen equipment
• Portion and serve food to students and staff
• Clean lunchroom, kitchen and equipment after use
• Maintain high degree of sanitation
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff and others contacted in the course of work
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, employees and others
• Able to learn Point of Service computer program
• Obtain Serv Safe Certificate
• Attend work regularly and promptly
• Perform other duties as assigned
