Role: Food Service Aide

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents, adhering to dietary requirements and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining spaces.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines diligently.
• Provide excellent customer service through positive interactions with residents, staff, and guests.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a food service or kitchen setting is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to follow instructions and effectively contribute to a team environment.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds, as well as stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks consistently.
• Familiarity and ability to work around food and cleaning products.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required based on state laws.
• Must reside within the service area.
