Job Type Part-time Description Job Summary: The Pittsburgh Field Club is seeking motivated and efficient Food Runners to join our dining team. As a Food Runner, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of food from the kitchen to the dining area. You will work closely with servers and kitchen staff to maintain smooth and efficient service, as well as maintain the order and cleanliness of the service stations. Responsibilities:
Retrieve prepared food items from the kitchen and deliver them to the appropriate tables in a timely manner. Ensure that all food items are accurately delivered according to the order tickets and that any special requests or modifications are fulfilled. Communicate effectively with servers to coordinate the timing of food delivery with the progress of the meal service. Assist in restocking service stations with necessary supplies, such as utensils, napkins, and condiments. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and clean work environment. Assist with other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to support the overall operation of the dining department. Requirements Requirements:
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred, but not required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks as needed. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to guests. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be 16 years or older.
