Food Quality and SQF Practitioner – New York, NY
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sanitation teams to verify cleaning procedures and conduct environmental monitoring.
- Keep detailed records of inspections, audits, training, and corrective actions to demonstrate compliance.
- Act as the primary contact during audits and ensure the facility is always audit-ready.
- Review new product formulations and process changes for food safety impacts.
- Create, manage, and insure compliance with SQF and Quality systems.
- Execute good quality inspections and GMP/quality audits.
- Write SOPs and work instructions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor7s degree in Science.
- 5+ years of food manufacturing industry experience.
- Experience in food safety or quality assurance roles.
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and regulatory requirements.
- SQF/HACCP Certified.
- Experience with food safety systems.
