ResponsibilitiesInclude but are not limited to the following:* Responsible for the Production area Cleanliness and safety lead.* Responsible for supporting inventory control of manufacturing supplies and materials withaccurate and timely information to ensure materials are available for production.* Lead member of the CAR team for Food Protection production.* Develop and communicate Food Protection manufacturing associate schedules to supportequipment scheduling by planning.* Helps staff achieve company goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, andevaluating job results.* Enforces company policies and guidelines.* Recruits, hires and helps with training new employees.* Ensures that production plans are completed.* Helps to develop Production procedures and work instructions.* Counsels employees on how to achieve optimal output and workflow.* Resolves issues and disputes between employees.* Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations.* Aids the Food Protection Operations Manager in monitoring the manufacturing budget andauthorizes hourly employee timesheets.* Recommends to the Food Protection Operations Manager in the hiring, firing, and disciplinaryactions for Food Protection Production associates.* All other responsibilities assigned by Food Protection Operations Manager.
Qualifications/Education/Special Skills* Previous supervisory experience.* Excellent coaching and communication skills.* Strategic planning skills.* Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.* Ability to deal with complex issues in a fast-paced setting.
