Food for Thought is hiring! We're seeking an experienced Food Production Operator to join our team and support daily production line operations.
What You'll Do: As a Food Production Operator, you'll play an important role in creating and delivering high-quality products while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency on the production floor.
Key responsibilities:
Operate and monitor production equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Prepare, process, and package food products according to established recipes and specifications.
Perform quality checks throughout production to ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety, and company policies.
Maintain accurate production records, labeling, and documentation.
Identify and report production issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns.
Support efficiency and continuous improvement efforts, including waste reduction and process enhancements.
Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets.
Follow all company policies regarding attendance, conduct, safety, and workplace standards.

Work EnvironmentFast-paced food production setting with exposure to varying temperatures.
Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as eyewear, hairnets, and safety shoes required.
Team-oriented environment where reliability and cooperation are key to meeting production goals.
Schedule is Monday–Thursday, AM shift. Occasional overtime on Friday's may be required depending on production load.
