**About Momofuku**

Established by chef and founder David Chang in 2004 with the opening of Momofuku Noodle Bar, Momofuku has grown to include restaurants in New York City, Sydney, Toronto, Washington, DC, and Las Vegas (Noodle Bar, Ssm Bar, Ko, M Pche, Seiobo, Noodle Bar Toronto, Daisho, Shoto, Fuku, Fuku+, CCDC, Nishi, Las Vegas, Fuku Wall St), a bakery established by award-winning pastry chef Christina Tosi (Milk Bar), and a bar (Nikai). The restaurants have gained world-wide recognition for their innovative take on cuisine, while supporting local, sustainable and responsible farmers and food purveyors.

**About Ko**

Momofuku Ko opened in 2008. At Momofuku Ko (which means son of), guests are served a tasting menu along a kitchen counter. Executive Chef Esther Ha uses seasonal ingredients and changes the menu frequently based on market availability. Ko has two Michelin stars, which it has maintained since 2009. In 2015, Ko was awarded three stars by the New York Times.

The Ko **Float Server** will be warm, hospitable, yet professional and exacting while providing above and beyond service in line with Momofuku standards and values. We are looking for well-presented, organized individuals who want to be part of a team that tests limits.

**Responsibilities**

* Setting up, detailing, and maintaining dining room, tables, and stations to standards required

* Professional and accurate running of food and beverage items

* Maintaining service stations via efficient bussing to dish pit

* Assist service team with ongoing table and floor maintenance, including water service, clearing and cleaning tables, resetting tables, and restocking service tools, etc.

* Maintaining stock of water pitchers and all relevant service-ware

* Assist in the cleaning and polishing of all tableware.

* Effectively communicating service irregularities to all

* Assisting in producing checks

* Understanding food menu and be able to answer general questions

* Understanding bar menu and to be able to answer general questions

* Understanding basic knowledge of Momofuku and Momofuku Ko

* Respond appropriately to guest requests, communicating requests to server as needed

* Provide knowledgeable, approachable, efficient, energetic, and thoughtful service at all times

* Adhere to grooming and dress code standards

* Constantly pushing to maintain and augment existing standards

* Adhere to and uphold changing COVID-19 protocols

**Skills &** **Requirements**

* Willing to train the right person but 2+ years of relevant experience preferred

* Must possess strong empathy and team spirit

* Exceptional communication, service and floor skills

* Ability to work in an organized and meticulous manner with strong attention to small details

* Solution-focused, receptive to constructive criticism and general performance feedback

* Must have strong interest in food & wine, & the business of hospitality

* Uncompromising work ethic with a relish for new challenges

**Physical Demands**

* The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
