As a Float Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll be a versatile, go-to team member, stepping in across different locations to provide hands-on support, encouragement, and advocacy. No two days are the same - one day you might be helping someone master a new skill, and the next, making a community outing possible.

What You'll Do

  • Support daily living skills - from self-care and communication to social and recreational activities.

  • Encourage independence, confidence, and self-advocacy.

  • Assist with nutritious meal prep, medication administration, and health monitoring.

  • Promote positive behaviors and a safe, respectful environment.

  • Build meaningful relationships with the people you support and their networks.

  • Maintain accurate records and follow all OPWDD and agency guidelines.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience supporting people with developmental disabilities is a plus - but compassion, patience, and reliability are essential.

  • Ability to follow individualized support plans and adapt to changing needs.

  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to respect and inclusion.

  • Must meet Lifetime Assistance's vehicle operator requirements if driving is part of your duties.

  • Ability to pass required background checks.

    The Details

  • Full-time role with Overnight Shifts at all of our various locations, whatever is needed

  • Physical activity required (lifting up to 35 lbs., assisting with mobility).

  • Travel between program sites and in the community as needed.
