Thesuccessful applicant will provide Flight TestGround and Operations engineeringsupport. Tasks will include coordination andimplementation of pre-flight and post-flight activitiesto ensure aircraft's test readiness includingissuance and closure of documentation relatingto work performed on the aircraft as well as coordination of aircraft modifications. Position isresponsible for control and tracking of aircraftconfiguration, coordinating and staging ofsupport equipment, and coordinating with otherorganizations associated with test readiness.This position will act as the principal focal pointbetween maintenance and engineeringpersonnel. The ability to interface with all levelsof project management is desired.A level 4 employee Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience.**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.**Basic Qualifications:• Aircraft flight test experience• Experience working with Aircraft Systems and/or Maintenance/Modification Procedures• Experience and understanding of aircraft capabilities and test techniquesDesired Skills:Flight Test Request (FTR) and T2 modification processes.• Schematics, Engineering documentation, reading /interpretation and their use during troubleshooting.• Knowledge of avionics/mission systems and vehicle/utility systems.• Fault isolation and/or problem analysis at the subsystem level.• Good knowledge of the system/software engineering environment.• Authoring test and technical documents (System Checkout Procedures, Ground Test Support plans, etc.), plus directing andoverseeing their execution.• Technical report writing.• Excellent organization and communication skillsSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
