Job Description:

This position is open to an energetic and enthusiastic candidate looking for a challenging and rewarding career at Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Manassas, VA. You will join a team developing, delivering, and operating fully integrated solutions for military users across the globe.

Responsibilities:

This position involves a variety of tasks including problem-solving and collaboration with a team of engineers. Specific responsibilities will be outlined during the interview process.

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with less than 1 year of professional engineering experience.
  • Good working knowledge of Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in hardware, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position requires a government security clearance at the Secret level.
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
  • High school coursework, lab, or extracurricular experience in areas such as hardware design, electrical systems, 3D modeling (Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Zuken), rapid prototyping (3D printing), robotics, or engineering projects.
  • Desire and motivation to grow professionally within an engineering discipline at Lockheed Martin.
Additional Information:
  • This position requires a US government security clearance; applicants must be US Citizens.
  • The work will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
  • The schedule is a 4×10 hour day workweek with 3 days off.
