Insight Global is looking for a Flight Manual Publication Specialist for a company in Long Beach, CA or Warner Robins, GA. The Senior Technical Publications Project Management Specialist is responsible for developing, revising, and maintaining C-17 flight manuals and supplements to ensure technical accuracy, operational clarity, and compliance with military and regulatory standards. This role supports both domestic and international customers by managing multiple projects, collaborating with engineering and flight operations teams, and serving as a subject matter expert on C-17 operations. Key duties include authoring content for Foreign Military Sales (FMS), overseeing configuration control, leading quality reviews, and supporting digital transformation initiatives. The position also involves responding to customer and regulatory updates, ensuring timely and accurate documentation, and contributing to process improvements and business development efforts.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Aviation, Aeronautical Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. 5 years authoring or managing flight manuals or technical publications. Experience as a pilot with a transport aircraft Hands-on experience working with flight manuals. Strong understanding of flight operations, aircraft systems, and regulatory requirements (e.g., S1000D, MIL-STD, FAA, ICAO). Excellent technical writing and editing skills with a strong attention to detail and clarity. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external customers. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
