Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

As the Flight Dynamics Technical Program Manager for Amazon Project Kuiper, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing technical strategies that drive the success of our space systems. Reporting directly to the Flight Dynamics Engineering Manager, this role involves managing technical roadmaps, aligning cross-functional teams, and overseeing the development of mission-critical system interfaces and requirements within the Flight Dynamics organization.

You will be responsible for guiding complex spaceflight systems, including spaceflight navigation, maneuver planning, space safety, Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT), mission operations, Space Situational Awareness, and Space Traffic Coordination.

This technical leadership role demands expertise in both hardware and software integration, as well as a deep understanding of the challenges and applications in spaceflight.

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience- 3+ years of software development experience- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules- Proven experience in program management, specifically in developing and deploying large-scale, complex enterprise software systems.

- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership- Strong background in software development, with a solid understanding of space applications, particularly in spaceflight dynamics.
