McCluskey Chevrolet is seeking a results-driven and customer-focusedCommercial Automotive Fleet Sales Manager to lead our commercial vehicle sales division. This role is responsible for managing a team of sales professionals, developing fleet and business-to-business relationships, and driving revenue through strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the commercial sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with business clients, government agencies, and fleet buyers.
- Identify new business opportunities and create tailored vehicle solutions for commercial clients.
- Oversee the ordering, inventory, and delivery of commercial vehicles.
- Collaborate with the finance and service departments to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Stay current on commercial vehicle trends, incentives, and manufacturer programs.
- Train and mentor sales staff on commercial product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Ensure compliance with all dealership policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 2 years in a commercial or fleet sales role.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of commercial vehicle products, upfitting, and fleet operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience working with GM Fleet programs or other OEM commercial programs.
- Knowledge of local business markets and commercial vehicle financing options.
