*Location:* Grand Prairie, TX Tuesday – Saturday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM $55,000+ per year

*Job Description:* Bancroft & Sons Transportation, a family-owned trucking company in operation since 1969, is hiring a Fleet Manager / Dispatcher to oversee and support our long-haul drivers. This role is ideal for someone who can make quick decisions, stay organized, and keep drivers moving safely and efficiently.

*Responsibilities:*

* Book loads and manage freight scheduling * Dispatch drivers and plan routes * Monitor hours of service and delivery timelines * Manage invoicing, billing, and track payments * Oversee payroll and ensure timely, accurate pay * Keep drivers informed on all expectations and assignments * Route drivers for scheduled home time and manage equipment * Handle service disruptions and ensure DOT compliance * Motivate drivers to meet KPIs for safety, service, and efficiency * Provide accurate, real-time tracking and load updates

*Requirements:*

* Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities * Experience with dispatch, load booking, payroll, and invoicing * Transportation/logistics industry experience preferred * Familiarity with DOT regulations * Highly organized and able to manage a fast-paced workload
