As a Fleet Manager, your role is to oversee the maintenance, mechanical repairs, and overall efficiency of the company's fleet of vehicles. You will be at the forefront in managing all maintenance personnel for a smooth and efficient operation. Your leadership will cultivate a work environment that fosters driver success and satisfaction, ultimately contributing to the overall success of Waterfront Logistics.

• Fleet Oversight: Oversee the maintenance, mechanical repairs, and overall efficiency of the company's fleet of vehicles.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure the safe operation of all fleet vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintenance Record Management: Ensure all maintenance record data is kept up to date.
• Parts and Inventory Control: Control the acquisition and inventory of parts, supplies, equipment, tools, hardware, and software.
• Continuous Maintenance Program: Manage a continuous maintenance program for fleet vehicles.
• Emergency Supplies Management: Order urgent or emergency parts and supplies as needed.
• Safety Enforcement: Enforce and supervise the safety of transportation personnel.
• Roadside Assistance Preparation: Keep the roadside assistance vehicle ready to be deployed at any time as needed.
• Operational Support: Provide support for overall operations.

• Must have technical competence with light/medium/Heavy duty vehicle repair and preventive maintenance.
• Must display initiative, professionalism, candor and tact at all times.
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years fleet/vehicle maintenance supervision experience.
• ASE Certified for truck/transit preferred.
• Diesel experience required.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous learning.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to unpredictable situations.
• Experience: Preferred experience in fleet management or a related field.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Tech-savvy, including proficiency in Excel with knowledge of pivot tables and graphs.

• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Work overtime as required/ assigned.
• Travel as required.
• Work cooperatively with others.
• Interact with employees and customers in an appropriate manner.
• Use a computer for tasks such as communicating via email and preparing reports.
• Review and analyze data and information concerning planning, prioritizing and monitoring activities.
• Plan, prioritize and monitor activities.
• Complete assigned tasks/projects in a timely manner.
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures.

Pay: $110,000 - $125,000 - Salary
