Fixed Wing Pilot First Officer (King Air 200)

We're currently seeking a Fixed Wing First Officer for King Air 200 operations in Kansas City, MOwith a sign-on bonus up to $50,000 available for a limited time. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Perform dual-pilot, IFR, fixed-wing air ambulance operations
  • Fly as Second-in-Command (SIC) on King Air 200 aircraft with a two-pilot crew
  • Work in 24-hour operational coverage with a rotating day/night schedule
  • Collaborate closely with medical and aviation teams to execute safe, efficient transport missions
  • Adhere to all General Operations Manual (GOM) procedures and safety protocols
  • Participate in community outreach programs and support internal/external customer service initiatives
  • Assist with loading/unloading patients and equipment (must be able to lift up to 100 lbs)

Location & Schedule:

  • Base: Kansas City, MO
  • Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
  • Must reside within 1 hour of the assigned base

Key Qualifications:

  • ATP Certificate Airplane, Multi-engine land
  • First Class Medical Certificate
  • Currently qualified on VE7A certificate
  • Minimum Flight Experience (CAMTS-compliant):
    • 2,000 total airplane hours
    • 1,000 PIC multi-engine
    • 500 hours PIC in multi-engine airplanes
    • 100 hours night flight
    • Instrument rating required
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Final employment contingent upon interview and approval by program management

Medical & Physical Requirements:

  • Must meet body weight limit of 235 lbs
  • Must pass a pre-placement physical and functional capacity exam (ability to lift 100 lbs)
  • Drug screening and background check required
  • Current on all vaccination/immunization requirements, including:
    • COVID-19 vaccine
    • TB screening
    • Varicella (2 doses or positive titer)
    • MMR (2 doses or positive titer)
    • Tdap
    • Hepatitis B (series + surface antibody titer)
    • Annual flu vaccine
