Your opportunity
Complete trades on behalf of fund managers, adhering to Best Execution principles
Utilize technology platforms effectively to operate at a high level of value add to the investment process while ensuring and evidencing best execution of trades
Suggest strategies and provide guidance to portfolio managers throughout the investment and trading process including providing market commentary and information
Liaise with brokers and counterparties to gain market information
Explore and advocate technology solutions to trading, operations, and portfolio management
Carry out additional duties as assigned

Must have skills
Previous Trading experience in Fixed Income instruments specifically within securitized finance with a focus on TBAs and agency and non-agency specified pools. Experience in asset backed securities, commercial mortgage-backed securities, home equity loans, collateralized loan obligations, and private loans strongly desired.
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in business, finance or economics
Minimum of five years trading experience required
CFA or post graduate degree or progress toward completion preferred
Knowledge of Bloomberg and other market data platforms, including execution platforms
Knowledge of Charles Rivers or other trade booking systems
Knowledge of Intex Solutions, Yield Book and other applications applicable to role
Ability to prioritize and manage time and risk accordingly
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Independent judgement with strong analytical and risk assessment skills
Ability to build key internal relationships with Fund Managers and external relationships with brokers
Comprehensive knowledge of securities and markets, trading characteristics and approaches, and factors influencing price trends, as well as a willingness to learn and adapt to new trading strategies and investment products
Nice to have skills
Programming skills (C#, Python, VBA) strongly preferred
Derivatives and FX experience, including swaps, futures and forwards strongly desired
Experience in trading corporate debt, US Treasuries/Agencies, and other sovereigns/quasi-governments desired, but not required

Compensation information - US ONLY
The base salary range for this position is $160,000-$180,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.
