Fitness Attendant - Apex Park and Recreation District : Job Details

Under the general supervision of the Fitness and Wellness Coordinator, this position is responsible for assisting in the operations of the Apex Center Weight Room. Responsible for ensuring the daily maintenance of all strength, cardiovascular and fitness equipment is conducted. Maintenance includes cleaning of equipment and limited preventative maintenance. Assist in all setup/tear down of Fitness Special Events including Silver. Sneakers events, Group Fitness events and workshops. Conducts regular weight room walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness and ensure patron compliancy. Supports Admission Desk staff and assists with check-in, customer service questions when needed. Conducts youth weight room orientations to familiarize prospective youth patrons with weight room rules, policies and procedures ensuring safety for themselves and other patrons.
