NATURE OF POSITION:
\nThis position is a local service & inspections management position that reports to General Manager. The Service Manager will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for technical personnel,and ensuring personnel are properly trained.
\nRESPONSIBILITIES:
\n· Work with the General Manager and other managers to develop financial and operational goals for service and inspections divisions
\n· Implement plans, programs, and processes developed to meet or exceed district goals and objectives maximizing market potential.
\n· Manage new contracts and renewal of existing contracts or contract work.
\n· Consistently & accurately complete labor forecasting and scheduling, to ensure the effective operation of the Divisions and the efficiency of personnel.
\n· Establish productivity goals for technical and administrative employees that support and compliment the tactical priorities of the Divisions.
\n· Ensure appropriate inventory and inventory controls for materials needed for scheduled repairs and deficiencies.
\n· Achieve the assigned monthly goals for revenue and cost control; work to correct any budgetary deficiencies
\n· Lead the technical and administrative personnel in providing a high level of customer service
\n· Learn and ensure compliance with all applicable industry codes
\n· Protect the company's assets
\n· Perform any other tasks assigned by the General Manager or Managing Member
\nREQUIREMENTS:
\n· Possess any necessary licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes.
\n· Minimum 3 years related operational management experience either in the fire protection industry or the commercial customer service business.
\n· NICET or equivalent training from manufacturers or institutions. Working knowledge of NFPA 72.
\n· Established knowledge of all product lines and services offered by Impact Fire Services.
\n· Competency with the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn the Company's information systems applications.
\n· Experience with or skills needed in designing, implementing, and maintaining safe working procedures.
\n· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
\n· The ability to perform physical activities outlined in the accompanying physical requirements checklist.
\n· Strong work ethic and professional appearance.
\nIn addition to the above, the most desirable candidate will have:
\n· A four-year college degree in management or business administration or comparable experience
\n· Industry licensing or certification of competency with fire alarms and commercial sprinkler systems
\n
