Fire Sprinkler DesignerGreenville, SC | Direct Hire | 4-Day Work Week (Mon–Thurs, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM)~ $25–$50/hour DOE | Relocation Assistance Available (East of the Mississippi)A well-established and respected fire protection contractor is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer to create code-compliant fire protection system layouts for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. This is a high-impact, full-time position based in Greenville, SC, with a compressed work schedule and a strong pipeline of work.This is a full-time, onsite position based in Greenville, SC.Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates within the Eastern U.S. This is not a remote or hybrid role.Key Responsibilities:Design sprinkler systems using HydraCAD and AutoCAD, adhering to NFPA 13, NFPA 14, and other applicable codesDevelop detailed layout drawings, hydraulic calculations, and material takeoffsCoordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP plans to ensure seamless design integrationCommunicate with AHJs, clients, contractors, and installation teamsAssist with submittals, permitting, and approvalsRevise drawings as required throughout construction and post-installationStay current with code updates and industry trendsQualifications:~ 3+ years of experience in fire sprinkler designStrong working knowledge of NFPA codes and fire protection design principlesProficient in HydraCAD and AutoCADAbility to read and interpret technical and construction drawingsNICET Level II or higher in Water-Based Systems Layout (preferred)Excellent organizational and communication skillsSelf-motivated and able to manage multiple projects and deadlinesMust be able to pass a drug screen and 7-year background checkPosition Details:Onsite role in Greenville, SCMonday–Thursday schedule, 7:00 AM–5:30 PMNo travel requiredBusiness casual dressInterview process includes Zoom and onsite meetingsQuick feedback (24–48 hours)Drug test requiredPerks:Competitive pay based on experience (~ +/- $25–$50/hour)4-day work weekRelocation assistance available (ideal for candidates east of the Mississippi)Opportunity to work with a longstanding company in a stable, growing industryApply Today:This position is actively hiring and won’t stay open long.
