The Electrical/ Controls Design Engineer serves as a member of the Electrical/ Instrumentation & Controls Design Engineering Unit at Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Plant. This group serves as the owners of the design and licensing basis for the plant. This position focuses on the primary responsibilities of site Fire Protection Engineer. Job Description. Key Accountabilities. Prepare engineering change packages for modifications to the station, including design drawings, vendor drawings, specifications, and other applicable documents. Maintain calculations up to date. Assist in developing solutions to engineering technical issues in support of plant operation and maintenance. Prepare technical reports and presentations on engineering technical issues as needed. Support problem identification and resolution using the Corrective Action Program. Ensure changes to the design requirements are identified, documented, controlled, evaluated, and approved.
