Employment Solutions is partnering with a well-established company to hire a Finishing Maintenance Supervisor to work 2nd shift onsite in Elmira, NY. This is a direct hire full-time position with outstanding benefits!

Salary Range: $73K -$107K

OVERVIEW

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, assist with maintenance planning, training, safety, special projects, and scheduling work. This position requires supervising and coordinating work of employees such as repair, maintain the building/facility, and production machinery/equipment in the facility with the potential for alternating rotation of 1st and 2nd

RESPONSIBILITIES

• directly with Maintenance Manager, and Maintenance Foreman.
• appropriate recommendations for corrective actions based on hazards, procedural discrepancies, deterioration of equipment, schedule maintenance activities, update PM s for efficiency and improvements.
• with Production Operations to determine production needs and maintenance support.
• daily and weekly activities of maintenance department.
• emergency repairs and monitor maintenance parts, and materials as needed for emergency repairs.
• long range preventative, routine maintenance, and training plans for employees.
• the following audit types: Parts Audits, PM Audits
• Planning to include cost summaries, parts requisitions, equipment modification and outside contractor support as needed.
• and enforce safety and housekeeping practices including hazardous waste disposal.
• involved in new hire process for department, coaching employees, and progressive discipline.

REQUIREMENTS:

• years supervisory experience or 5 years maintenance experience in a Machine Shop.
• or technical degree in related area preferred.
• Attention to detail through ambitious goal setting and productive project management.

• Sound technical, leadership and problem-solving skills
