The New York City Department of Investigation (DOI) is one of the oldest law enforcement agencies in the country, with a mission of combating municipal corruption. It serves the people of New York City by acting as an independent and nonpartisan watchdog for City government, agencies, employees, vendors with City contracts, and entities receiving City funds.
DOI Fingerprint UnitThe unit is responsible for retrieving, reviewing, and analyzing fingerprint results for individuals applying to work in childcare settings under NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene oversight.
Position: Squad 4 - Principal Administrative AssociateThis role involves retrieving electronic fingerprint results, conducting reviews and analyses, performing research and outreach, maintaining records within internal systems, processing reports, and handling related administrative tasks. The candidate may also handle public and agency complaints and assist in confidential investigations.
