The Opportunity

The Finance Department is seeking a Financial Systems & Reporting Manager. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Systems & Reporting Manager possesses strong technical, analytical, decision-making and communication skills, timeliness and accuracy of financial statements and supporting the Financial Controller in producing clear and actionable financial reports. Strong communication skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships across the organization and with outside vendors and partners.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the setup, upgrades, and integration of various financial systems (VENA, NetSuite, Paycom, and Coupa);
  • Integrate fiscal systems with agency-wide systems such as Agiloft and Salesforce;
  • Develop templates and reports in financial systems that will drive efficiencies in day-to-day operations;
  • Evaluate financial processes and recommend and implement effective and efficient solutions;
  • Provide training and support to end-users, encouraging a positive user experience and promoting best practices;
  • Ensure data integrity across platforms by performing routine audits, validations, and reconciliations;
  • Support data imports, exports, and integrations between systems;
  • Enhance functionality of financial systems;
  • Troubleshoot technical issues; and
  • Additional tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial reporting, budgets and grants/contracts required;
  • Experience in nonprofit and/or government accounting, including grant and contract accounting, compliance, and reporting preferred; and
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite and Coupa a plus.

Position Type: Full-time.

Position Location: Midtown Manhattan. Hybrid schedule with two days in person required.

Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000 and is commensurate with experience. The Center for Justice Innovation offers an excellent benefits package including comprehensive healthcare with a national network, free basic dental coverage, vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, and flexible spending accounts including commuter FSA.
