A Financial Services Business Consultant provides business consulting services by collaborating with client business/IT user groups under the guidance of ABeam's Manager/Senior Manager. The role involves understanding client operations, processes, and services deeply to deliver solutions that meet client expectations.

• Facilitate the definition and documentation of business functions and supporting systems processes, ensuring solutions support client operations.
• Document project tasks, progress, issues, risks, and their resolutions.
• Identify and resolve cross-workstream issues and dependencies.
• Create clear process documents, requiring skills in interviewing, facilitation, and workflow analysis.
• Analyze business functions and technology options, recommending improvements for operational efficiency.

• 4-10 years of experience in business operations within consulting roles in a financial services environment.
• Knowledge in areas such as core banking, loan and guarantee systems, data analytics, credit rating, transaction banking, risk management, AML/CFT/KYC/TMS, and regulatory reporting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or IT.
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must have U.S. work authorization; bilingual in Japanese is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to client locations.
