Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr

Addison Group is representing a growing and dynamic real estate lending firm in the Seattle, WA area. We are recruiting for a Financial Reporting Manager/Senior Manager of Financial Reporting/Assistant Controller who will be responsible for overseeing the internal financial reporting process, managing audits, and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP. This role will play a key part in enhancing reporting accuracy, driving operational improvements, and contributing to the financial leadership of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares and manages monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Leads the external audit and company's annual audit process, coordinating deliverables and serving as the main liaison with auditors.
• Ensures compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and industry regulations.
• Conducts technical accounting research and implements relevant accounting standards.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with FP&A, legal, and capital markets teams to support financial decision-making.
• Identifies and drives process improvements across reporting systems and workflows.
• Supports regulatory and investor reporting requirements, as applicable.
• Assist with tax matters and external tax resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum of five years of experiencein public accounting or corporate accounting.
• Strong exposure to asset management, investment, or financial services industry is required.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and technical accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite or similar accounting systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
