Financial Reporting Analyst

The Financial Reporting Analyst will perform a broad range of accounting and financial analyst responsibilities to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Write and run SQL, JET and Power BI reports related to financial transactions
  • Create monthly and quarterly reports for both internal and external users
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Create and post general ledger entries
  • Pull data from outside platforms for reporting
  • Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Create ad hoc reports
  • Assist in month end closing process

Secondary Functions:

  • Banking duties
  • Pulling data for audit requests
  • Other duties as assigned

Expected hours of work:

  • M-F 8a-5p (Hybrid - In office Monday, Wednesday & Thursday)

Job Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • Experience with reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, JET Reporting as well as experience with ERP Software

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to find and solve complex data problems
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to draw meaningful conclusions from data
  • Proven ability to interpret and present complex data in a clear and concise manner
  • Skilled in communicating findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • High level of mindfulness and accuracy in all aspects of work
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams
