The opportunity

Delaware North is searching for a highly-skilled FPA Manager, Sportservice to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team supporting our Sportservice division at our Global Headquarters in Buffalo, New York. Our ideal candidate is skilled at data modeling and presenting findings to senior leadership confidently and succinctly. You will use your skills to perform financial and operational analyses with the goal of improving the efficiency of corporate and subsidiary operations.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $95,900 – $129,400 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. What will you do?
  • Partner with subsidiary leadership and field users to prepare annual budgets, review for budget accuracy, discuss variances and potential issues, and consolidate into company financial statements. Ensure submissions are consistent with the direction given by executive management.
  • Prepare and review weekly, monthly, and annual forecasts to analyze financial performance trends, discuss variances, and consolidate them into financial statements.
  • Support finance and accounting team members across the organization to ensure organizational alignment on processes, objectives, and needs.
  • Create, design, and administer ad hoc reporting as necessary.
  • Assist in developing executive-level presentations for both internal and external purposes
  • Collect, maintain, and analyze information on industry and market trends.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to drive follow-up within all functions of the enterprise
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills
More about you
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required. An MBA is preferred.
  • At least five years of experience in FPA required.
  • Experience working with financial modeling, assumption generation, and comparisons with market trends and comparable transactions.
  • Strong analytical experience in finance-related functions.
  • Experience with financial analysis and data mining.
  • Experience with financial information, including audit reports, and the ability to extract information and prepare projections and reports with the information provided.
