With locations in New York City, LA and Chicago, a nationwide e-commerce and wholesale business, international locations in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, and an emerging Grocery business in the US, Magnolia Bakery's whimsical spin on classic, American desserts is now in every neighborhood.Job Title: FP&A Manager, CPG Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced FP&A Manager to be a key member of the Finance team, working closely with the senior leaders, providing financial information to impact operating decisions. This role will be the lead Finance business partner to the CPG and Wholesale teams, supporting and challenging them to find and execute profitable growth opportunities. Range: $100,000-$115,000 + 5% Bonus Eligibility Location: Hybrid Reports to: CFO Principal Duties: Financial Planning & Reporting

• Develop annual and multiannual plans, budgets, and forecasts in partnership with business line leaders
• Manage the coordination of the monthly close process between business line leaders and the accounting team
• Prepare monthly trade accruals and reconciliations
• Work with Accounting team to manage and dispute trade and non-trade deductions
• Report CPG results by business line, product & channel/customer
• Share results with business line leaders, with insights on performance and recommendations to address gaps and opportunities to plan

• Present plans, budgets and results to CEO and investor partners

Analysis

• Analyze item consumption trends and insights
• Co-develop price pack architecture for CPG items
• Evaluate new items, new customers, and promotion opportunities
• Work with Supply Chain team to manage inventory stock levels to reduce swell and obsolete spend
• Monitor ingredients and packaging costs, identifying opportunities, and partnering to execute cost-saving initiatives
• Partner with logistics team to understand and minimize freight and warehousing costs
• Provide financial insights based on product-specific and channel/customer-specific sales analysis to inform strategic planning and business growth
• Participate in ad-hoc projects

Required:

• Business, accounting, or related education
• 5 + years professional experience
• 3 + years FP&A experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Advanced analytical skills
• Knowledge of USGAAP
• Experience in CPG

Preferred:

• Experience with NetSuite
• Experience implementing and using an FP&A tool
• Experience working in a fast-growing company
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships with staff and partners
• Organized with good time management skills
