Financial Controller - CBIZ Talent Solutions : Job Details

CBIZ has been engaged to seek an Controller with corporate and audit experience to oversee all financial and reporting functions of a Downtown NYC organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage A/P, A/R, cash receipts, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and payroll
• Perform month-end closing and GL reconciliations and related analysis.
• Prepare and maintain budgets
• Liaise with outside auditors, vendors, and other departments
• Manage treasury functions and initiate bank transfers
• Financial reporting to management and board
• Full-scope HR: onboarding, insurance, payroll, union dues, absentee management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting with CPA designation
• Proficiency in accounting software (MAS90 a plus)
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Please note: this is a stand-alone position

Salary range is $175-185k plus excellent benefits.
