Your Role as a Financial Controller

• Oversee the hospital's financial operations, including billing, accounts receivable, cash receipts, collections, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger management, forecasting, budgeting, internal controls, and audits.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly and annual financial reports, budgets, and necessary state-level financial documents.
• Develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency as advised by hospital leadership and corporate offices.
• Engage in hospital Governing Body committees and partnership boards.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations, actively monitoring adherence.
• Celebrate team achievements and progress along the way!

Qualifications Required

• CPA certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management with a major in Accounting; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of five years of experience in hospital accounting.
• Knowledge of financial management and analysis principles acquired through experience in public accounting, particularly in health care auditing.
• Preferred one to three years of experience as a hospital chief financial officer.
• Willingness to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and night shifts when necessary.
• Availability to work on religious and legal holidays as scheduled.
