Hours:

Monday - Friday 10am - 7pm

Saturday 10am - 5pm

As a Financial Center Manager, you will:

  • Lead and coach a team that drives consistent operating rhythms and ongoing relationship management while providing a memorable customer experience.
  • Deliver an integrated book of business strategy where all customers, through all channels, have a Financial Needs Assessment and are assigned to the best banker for proactive, ongoing support.
  • Lead by example by consistently using the consultative sales process to proactively identify the financial needs of current and prospective customers, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Source, develop, coach, and lead a team that reinforces our Core Values and business strategies.
  • Participate in activities that benefit the communities we serve.
  • Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other related policies, modeling the ethical behavior expected from every employee.

GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Financial Center Manager (FCM) is responsible for leading and coaching a team that drives consistent operating rhythms and execution of customer onboarding and ongoing relationship management. Works to actively strengthen the financial center's book of business while providing an exceptional customer experience. Provides direction and oversight to sales, service support, daily operations, and staffing needs to ensure high quality. Each financial center is tiered based on factors such as households, revenue, and opportunity. The FCM is accountable for the business's sustainment and growth, including deposits, assets, fee-based services, and development and retention of customers.

Responsible for risk management by adhering to policies, elevating concerns, and ensuring actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. Achieves results by identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types within the Bank's risk appetite.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deepen customer relationships by providing a memorable experience.
  • Maintain knowledge of Fifth Third's products, services, and resources to guide the team.
  • Lead using the consultative sales process to identify customer needs and recommend solutions.
  • Implement an integrated book of business strategy with Financial Needs Assessments for all customers.
  • Develop, coach, and lead a team aligned with Core Values and strategies.
  • Cultivate a One Bank culture through collaboration.
  • Participate in community benefit activities.
  • Follow the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and related policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide timely, constructive feedback to employees, assist in their development, recognize achievements, and support talent development and succession planning.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • College degree or 2+ years of sales experience.
  • Previous management experience preferred.
  • Experience in financial industry and managing P&L is a plus.
  • Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank.
  • Ability to analyze credit and financial information.
  • Ability to execute and coach sales activities.
  • Business acumen and sound decision-making skills.
  • S.A.F.E. Act registration via NMLS required at employment.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normal office environment.
  • Extended computer screen time.
  • Periodic travel within the Bancorp footprint for meetings and training.
