Financial Analyst - NY Staffing : Job Details

Participate in preparing financial and business related analysis and research in the corporate finance areas of expense performance. Conduct quantitative analysis on financial data and investment programs. Advise on aspects of capitalization in terms of amounts, sourcing, etc. Prepare comparative analysis of operation by analyzing cost in relation to services performed. Prepare various types of financial documents such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements. Prepare reports to substantiate financial operations and transactions. Prepare month end reporting for accrual purposes. Set budget parameters and control expenditures. Create and provide reports on progress of profitability. Analyze financial information dealing assets, liabilities and capital and other reports to summarize current and projected company's financial standing. Analyze past and present financial operations and estimate future revenues and expenditures; project future revenues, expenses, and prepare and forecast a budget plan. Examine accounts and records, compute the amount of tax payable according to prescribed rates, laws, and regulations to ensure that the company complies with periodic tax payment, information reporting, and other taxing authority requirements. Audit contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions. Establish, modify, document, and coordinate implementation of financial operations performance and control procedures. Advise management on matters such as effective use of resources and assumptions for underlying budget forecasts. Experience must include utilizing: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, JIRA, Data Visualization, WIP Accounting, Financial Modeling.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree or a foreign academic equivalent in Finance, Management, Business Administration, or related with 1 year of relevant experience in a job offered or as a Business Professional. Any suitable combination of education, training, and experience is acceptable.
