Financial Analyst - Eliassen Group : Job Details

We are seeking a proactive and fast-paced Financial Analyst to join our SDIT Digital Platforms team. This role is focused heavily on budgeting, forecasting, and procurement support within an IT environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing both CapEx and OpEx IT budgets and be comfortable working in a high-speed, confidential, and detail-oriented setting.

Duration: Long term 12 months with extension

Location: Hybrid 4 days onsite St. Louis, MO 63043

Rate: $40 - $47 / hr. w2

This is a contract role with potential for long-term extension (23 years+ common on the team)

Not seeking CPA-type profiles; must have direct IT budgeting experience

Must be a self-learner and able to match the high energy and pace of the leadership team

• Lead and manage all budgeting and forecasting activities for the Digital Platforms team
• Oversee and maintain IT CapEx and OpEx budgets with high attention to accuracy
• Work closely with business planning and time tracking teams to ensure project hours are correctly allocated
• Partner directly with leaders on highly confidential budget matters
• Track time reporting and identify trends across IT projects
• Review and manage procurement SOWs; coordinate with the legal team to ensure contractor approvals and documentation are processed efficiently
• Support data reporting and analysis using Excel and Tableau; SQL knowledge is a plus
• Ensure proper time and cost tracking across teams and identify any discrepancies

• 45 years of experience in a Financial Analyst role, specifically supporting IT budgets
• Strong Excel and Tableau skills; familiarity with SQL is a plus
• Proven experience managing CapEx and OpEx within IT environments
• Experience working with procurement and legal teams on SOW management
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and maintain confidentiality on sensitive data
• Highly self-motivated, fast-paced, and able to operate independently in a high-speed environment
