Financial Analyst - Abacus Group : Job Details

Job Description

Our client is a real estate firm. They seek a temp to perm Financial Analyst to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsbilities

• Review monthly reports, including check variances and cash balances
• Monitor commercial billing, including rent increases and escalations
• Verify the accuracy of unit charges for sublet, storage, bicycle, fitness, etc.
• Oversee company-wide payroll, utilities, contracts, supplies, etc.
• Make necessary re-classifications and reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Produce cash flow and funding analysis for capital project costs
• Manage and fund capital expenditures and prepare annual budgets
• Build relationships with accounting staff and property managers
• Attend meetings and present various finance reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of Accounting experience
• Real estate industry background
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Able to follow procedures and lead by example
• Responsive and able to meet deadlines
• Reliable, professional demeanor
• Skilled in MDS as well as MS Excel and Word
