We are looking for bright, creative, collaborative, resourceful, hard-working individuals that are interested in financial analytics in the commercial real estate sector. Candidates should demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and experience in the field and/or in running financial analyses. At minimum, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree, preferably with a finance, economics, or accounting oriented concentration. Real estate, economics, mathematics, engineering, and applied science concentrations are also acceptable. Candidates must be able to commute to our office in Birmingham, MI.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Understanding of DCF models (financial modeling experience is a bonus)
  • Content creation (presentations, pitches, marketing materials)
  • Ability to interact with multiple brokers and clients to discuss real estate transactions.
  • Building and maintaining databases (comparable transactions, Net Effective Rent, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrate superior quantitative and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess high Excel expertise (creating Pivot Tables, charts, formulas, etc.)
  • Be proficient with all other office programs (i.e., Word, Power Point, etc.)
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to thrive under minimal supervision.
  • Have strong attention to details.
  • Have a superior work ethic.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or other comparable business-related degree is preferred.
  • Financial planning and analysis (FP&A) experience is a plus.
